No exact start date has been announced. The criterion stated by city authorities is a daily average temperature below +8 °C for five consecutive days.

This means the temperature over a full day, not the coldest hour at night. The city says it will take actual weather into account and avoid delaying a decision if colder conditions require action.
Pogoda.uz forecasts daytime temperatures of +15 to +22 °C and night-time temperatures of +12 to +15 °C for 1–5 November in Tashkent. Day and night forecasts do not set the heating start date.
