Current transformers ensure the safety of measurements by isolating the measuring circuits from the primary circuit with high voltage.

General information:
Current transformers are widely used for measuring electric current and in relay protection devices of electric power systems, and therefore high accuracy requirements are imposed on them.

High precision requirements are imposed on current transformers. As a rule, a current transformer is performed with two or more groups of secondary windings: one is used to connect protection devices, the other, more accurate, is used to connect metering and measuring devices.
