⚡ The ESS M1-250 3P 250A is a moulded-case power circuit breaker designed for switching and protecting three-phase electrical circuits. It is installed in distribution panels to protect cable lines, incoming feeders and connected equipment against dangerous overcurrent conditions.
When an overload or short circuit occurs, the breaker disconnects the electrical circuit, helping prevent cable overheating, equipment damage and electrical fires. Its three-pole design opens all three phases simultaneously.
🔌 Main specifications
- Model: ESS M1-250;
- Number of poles: 3P;
- Rated current of this version: 250 A;
- Series current range: 100–250 A;
- Network: three-phase, 380 V;
- Breaking capacity: 35 kA;
- Design: moulded-case circuit breaker.
🛡️ Protection functions
- Overload protection — when connected equipment draws more current than the circuit can safely carry;
- short-circuit protection — when current rises sharply because conductors come into direct contact;
- manual isolation — for servicing or repairing the electrical line.
✅ Key advantages
- 250 A rated current for high-power three-phase loads;
- 35 kA breaking capacity for interrupting substantial fault current;
- three-pole operation disconnects all phases simultaneously;
- protection against overload and short circuit;
- durable insulated moulded housing;
- convenient manual switching;
- suitable for incoming and distribution electrical panels;
- applicable to commercial, industrial and infrastructure facilities.
🏭 Applications
- main incoming and distribution boards;
- main and group electrical panels;
- industrial facilities;
- commercial and administrative buildings;
- pump and ventilation systems;
- machinery and process equipment;
- warehouses, shopping centres and service facilities;
- three-phase circuits with a calculated load of up to 250 A.
⚠️ Important before installation
The breaker rating must be selected according to more than equipment power alone. Cable cross-section, conductor material, installation method and permissible cable current must also be considered. A circuit breaker primarily protects the wiring, so installing a higher rating without calculation can leave the cable inadequately protected.
Installation, electrical connection and terminal-torque inspection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before commissioning, verify all parameters against the markings on the breaker and its technical documentation.
