💧 UzMeter DN65 + SWEM — water metering with remote readings
This kit combines a UzMeter DN65 cold-water meter with a pulse output and a separate SWEM data modem. The meter measures water volume, while the modem transmits data to a compatible metering platform.

📡 How the kit works
- Water passes through the meter, which measures its volume.
- The pulse output generates signals representing a defined volume of water.
- A compatible modem pulse input receives these signals.
- Once configured, the modem sends data to the agreed server over GSM/GPRS.
The pulse value must be configured correctly — this is the water volume represented by one signal. The initial meter reading must also be aligned during setup.

What is included?
Two main devices: one UzMeter DN65 cold-water meter in the pulse-output version and one separate SWEM modem. Confirm cables, gaskets, mating flanges and documents in the order specification.
Is the kit for cold or hot water?
The included meter is identified as the UzMeter DN65 cold-water model. Hot water requires a meter with the appropriate temperature rating. Follow the documentation supplied with the actual meter.
Is this an ultrasonic meter?
No. The linked UzMeter DN65 is listed as a turbine meter: water flow drives the measuring mechanism. Its pulse output communicates information about the measured volume.
What does DN65 mean?
It identifies the nominal connection diameter. It does not determine maximum flow on its own. Selection must also consider flow, pressure, installation length and flange dimensions.
How are readings transmitted?
A compatible modem receives signals from the meter’s pulse output and, once configured, sends data to a server over GSM/GPRS. The pulse value and initial reading must be aligned during setup.
Is a SIM card included?
The modem listing states that a SIM card is purchased separately. A suitable data plan, mobile coverage and server connection settings are also required.
Will readings automatically reach the water supplier?

Can the modem be submerged?
Not unless the exact model has a confirmed rating permitting it. Install the modem protected from water and condensation. One component’s protection rating does not automatically apply to the whole kit.
How often does it report, and how long does the battery last?
The reporting interval is configured according to modem and server capabilities. Battery life depends on reporting frequency, signal quality and temperature; confirm it for the selected configuration.
Are installation and verification included?
Installation is arranged separately unless included in the order. Check the valid metrological verification document and next due date for the individual meter. Utility billing installation and registration procedures must be agreed with the water supplier.
