BETAR SGV-15 mechanical hot- and cold-water meter

💧 The BETAR SGV-15 is a universal domestic meter designed to measure the volume of cold and hot potable water.

The DN15 meter is suitable for apartments, private houses, offices, shops and other properties. It requires no electrical power and displays accumulated consumption on a mechanical roller register.

🌡️ Cold and hot water

The SGV-15 is designed for water temperatures up to 90 °C.

⚙️ Mechanical operation

Water flow rotates an impeller inside the body. Its movement is transferred to the register, which displays consumption in cubic metres.

According to the manufacturer’s current operating manual, water pressure must not exceed 1.0 MPa, or 10 bar.

• class B when installed horizontally;
• class A when installed in another position.

For improved measurement performance, install the meter horizontally with the register facing upwards whenever possible.

🔌 No electrical supply required

The standard SGV-15 is a mechanical meter and does not require electricity, batteries, a modem, SIM card or internet connection.

📄 Verification and certification

🔧 Installation recommendations

1. Shut off the water and release system pressure.
2. Flush the pipeline.
3. Install a coarse filter upstream of the meter.
4. Align the body arrow with the water-flow direction.
5. Install horizontally whenever possible.
6. Use new sealing gaskets.
7. Avoid mechanical stress and misalignment.
8. Open the water supply slowly and vent trapped air.
9. Check all joints for leaks.
10. Arrange official sealing when required.
