TGFE (Turbine Gas Flowmeter Electronic) is a gas turbine electronic flowmeter manufactured by TMS Korea. A rotating wing is installed inside the flow meter, which consists of several blades attached to it. The gas passing through the pipe causes the wing to rotate in proportion to the gas flow velocity. A magnet is mounted on the rotating wing, while a gas flow sensor is mounted on the outer part of the turbine, which makes it possible to generate an electric pulse as the wing rotates. The principle of the mechanism for measuring the flow rate of gas passing through the pipe is calculated by the frequency of the signal. A 3.6 volt lithium battery is built into the flow meter (average service life is 5 years). A feature of the flow meter is a multifunctional regulator that automatically calculates and corrects temperature, pressure and compressibility factor in relation to temperature and pressure sensors.
