Dn-32 sliding brass wing valve
DN32 brass globe-type valve with handwheel
🔧 The DN32 (1¼") globe-type valve is used to open and shut off water flow in a pipeline. Unlike a ball valve operated by a single 90° turn, this valve uses a multi-turn handwheel mechanism.
This construction allows the opening position to be changed gradually, providing more controlled flow management. The valve can be installed in water systems near meters, filters, pumps and other engineering equipment.
🔄 How the valve mechanism works
Turning the handwheel moves a stem and shut-off element inside the body. Rotating it in one direction gradually closes the passage, while turning it in the opposite direction opens it.
🖐️ Compact wing-style handwheel
The wing-shaped handwheel provides a comfortable grip and does not require clearance for a long lever. This makes the valve convenient for technical cabinets and confined installation areas.
🔩 Brass body
The body is made of brass, a material widely used for plumbing shut-off valves. The DN32 size generally corresponds to a 1¼-inch threaded connection.
✅ Key advantages
- Gradual opening and shut-off;
- multi-turn valve mechanism;
- compact wing-style handwheel;
- brass body;
- DN32 (1¼") nominal size;
- convenient for confined installation areas;
- suitable for water and engineering systems;
- allows progressive adjustment of the opening;
- can be installed near meters, filters and pumps.
🏠 Applications
- cold water systems;
- hot water systems where permitted by the product data sheet;
- water-meter assemblies;
- filter and pump connections;
- private houses and apartment buildings;
- offices, shops and commercial premises;
- technical and distribution assemblies;
- utility and service pipelines.
⚠️ Verify before purchase
- exact thread arrangement;
- installation length;
- permitted working pressure;
- temperature range;
- shut-off element material;
- seal material;
- compatibility with the intended medium;
- flow direction where marked on the body.
💡 Do not overtighten the handwheel when closing the valve, as excessive force may damage the seal or threaded mechanism. Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber.
