Small-sized household gas meter SGMB-1.6 The meter is designed to measure the volume of gas passing through it (natural gas, liquefied gas and other gases that are not aggressive to the meter materials) by individual consumers.

The meter consists of: a jet autogenerator enclosed in a sealed housing with connecting pipes; an electronic unit; a lithium battery for powering the electronic unit; a housing cover with a sealing ring.

The measurement method used is indirect. The frequency and number of self-oscillations generated by the jet generator are proportional to the flow rate and volume of gas passed through the meter.

On the indicator device (LCD), the numbers to the left before the dot show the volume of gas in cubic meters, and the three digits after the dot - in fractions of a cubic meter. The presence of initial indications is due to the tests and initial verification.

The direction of gas flow is indicated by an arrow on the meter body.
