The principle of operation of the meter consists in measuring the difference in the passage times of ultrasonic waves over and against the gas current flowing through the meter. The gas flow enters the housing of the ultrasonic measuring transducer of the meter, enters the measuring chamber, inside which sources and receivers of ultrasonic waves are installed, forming the measuring signal, and leaves the measuring chamber.
